President Jay Maritz called the meeting to order at 5:36pm.

Attendance: 26

Minutes from last meeting were accepted.

OLD BUSINESS

TERT (Telecommunicator Emergency Response Team) – Connie Catterall handed out a draft of

the Memo of Understanding – it is based on the North Caroline model. Randy Milsap, attorney

for Wisconsin Emergency Management, will look at it over and provide input especially about

liability. Members of TERT can not sue TERT. WEM is ok with this, the question is

NENA/APCO ok with this? There was some discussion. Bottom line is that the state can not be

sued. Does each member have to sign an individual MOU and do they need an agency’s

approval before doing so? The future would be certified training and standards which is many

other issues. Please look at the MOU and if you have any questions please contact Connie.

Reminder – Wisconsin will be hosting the 2009 Regional APCO conference in April
